Re: p90 sized humbucker??
you'd have to go custom shop for a duncan one, unless you're looking at the stacked p90.
re the dimarzios, bear in mind they're not going to sound like p90s. at all.
the virtual p90 is the best i've tried so far, it's versatile and articulate but a real p90 in the neck will make it sound pretty weak. the p90-sized super distortion is good, in that it sounds like a super distortion...
not to contradict ratkent but i got a couple of DLX+ from a yamaha and didn't think much of them, i found them overly hot and dark in my PRS SE. for aftermarket replacement pickups, they sound a lot like crappy ceramic stockys IMO.
i have a tone zone p90 which i'll be trying with the virtual p90 in the PRS shortly, can let you know how that goes if you're interested.
IMPORTANT - have a good look at how you're planning to mount these to a pickguard, as the holes are at each end rather than in the middle like a regular soapbar; this isn't a problem if you're mounting direct to the body but if it's suspended on a mounting bracket (like in a squier tele custom II) they won't fit. you'll either need to make some of your own or butcher the existing ones.
i honestly believe sourcing or even making a pickguard with a HB bridge and p90 neck is a better option than trying to mount the DMZ p90-sized humbuckers to a pickguard, in terms of sound and function.
