P90s in a Strat

I have a request for an unusual schematic. I am installing two P90 pickups in a strat with a standard 3 way fender switch, 1 volume and independent tones. I am considering using 500K pots and .022mA caps

Thanks

Re: P90s in a Strat

why 500K pots?

aren't P90s single coils?

actually, now that I say that, I'm not sure what I'd use, although I'd think 250 K is the way to go.

Re: P90s in a Strat

My Phat Cats sound spectacular with 500k pots and Duncan recommends 500k for his other P-90's as well.

Re: P90s in a Strat

i think that would be very cool. fender made a guitar like that for a while and once you ditched the crappy blackdove pups the guitar wasnt bad at all

Sorry I was not specific in my initial post. The switch is a 3 way lever (like a tele switch), not a LP-type toggle

Re: P90s in a Strat

Hey that would sound sweet. I wonder if i could rout out my h/s/s yamaha too do that. give it a surfer feel. Put maybe a Jazz in the Bridge (H) and a rw/rp and a stard p90 in the neck/middle
