p94-t bridge, Phat Cat Neck

Re: p94-t bridge, Phat Cat Neck

i wasnt thrilled with the p94 and i think the phat cat bridge has the edge in the 'if im only using one' contest so it wouldnt be my first thought.

might be cool who knows. thats half the fun, trying things that you havent tried before. i had a jackson rhodes with a jb in the neck and it was awesome!! not a typical arrangement and in some other guitar it might not be as sweet but it was fat and punchy like hell.

Another idea is a Burstbucker Pro or an Angus Young in the bridge. I'm looking for some variety.

Should work fine. It's a similar design and I think the P94T is slightly hotter than the PC bridge.

Re: p94-t bridge, Phat Cat Neck

Hotter is ok. I was more concerned that the PC would be too dominant. The Burstbucker Pro and the Angus Young are also options. I just didn't quite see the SD that fit with the PC other than another PC. I already have a 59 in another guitar and I have no malice for the Gibson or Fender products, although the Fender humbuckers are a little weird sounding and thin. I am looking for tone and warmth and a little bite, but not crushing bass heavy nu metal.
