PAiA's Anderton QuadraFuzz

Re: PAiA's Anderton QuadraFuzz

I wonder if there's a long circuit board behind that faceplate. It might make a cool stompbox if it could be modded.

I bet it's a pretty compact circuit board. Kind stinks that the "rack" is only a faceplate. I'd rather an enclosed unit. I don't have a rack to put it in.

IMHO fuzz pedals need 2 controls max just volume and fuzz. Keep it simple its a fuzz pedal for god sakes.

Re: PAiA's Anderton QuadraFuzz

Simple is usually good, but not always the best. I think the idea has merit. I've been thinking of building a dirtbox that would individually distort different sections of the EQ and then combine the end result like this fuzz does. Sounds like it would be pretty darned flexible.

I like your idea but Im more for the classic fuzz sound not the more modern one. But I'll admit it does sound cool.

Unfortunately, I have this disease in which I must hear and play through every guitar thing ever made. I usually do end up keeping the simple stuff though. So, yer right.
