Painted Pickups

My custom Jackson is going to have painted pickup covers. The Adrenalize graphic will cover the EMG pickups as well.

So my quesition is: Do painted pickup covers affect the sound?

I hope the sound of the pickups will not be affected negatively by the paint covering them.

ive not noticed any difference since painting my pickups, thats with a fairly thick layer of enamel paint too.

Jackson is suppose to send me two new work-in-progress pictures today. I will post them here as soon as I get them.

I expect to have the guitar by the end of April.
The Kahler has arrived and the scalloping will be re-worked by the end of next week. So it won't be long now.
