how do you wire an SD pup in parallel? i know i asked this on the old forum, but i forgot already... please forgive my stupidity :p

Just to add a useless tidbit of trivia to Artie's post.

The method Artie printed would be in parallel, out of phase, with humbucking action. Which would be the most common and useful parallel wiring.

Of course the other option would be in parallel, in phase, without humbucking action. Probably not as useful (or totally useless), but incase you want it, its wired as follows -:

Black + Green = goes to ground
Red + White = goes to hot

Hey I had not seen this thread in the old forum and I find this one pretty interesting. I will take the risk to be boring :rolleyes: but feel free to answer or not. What does sound seem like with the pickups in parallel compare to serie wiring and what's the difference in sound between in phase and out of phase.
