thanks for feedback on the other Low gain thread. I am in means of redoing some of those clips at higher volumes with hot plate also.

Just wanted to compare TSL VPR against the 100 watts of each. What sucks is I am not making music any more all I f**king do is make clips lately and can't stop. Depressing seriously. Anyway playing is crap timing is off but I am burned out and one take is all I am gave it. So take a listen.

These are the high gain clips. Same thing blind test just your favorite out of the folder.

Quality of your speker system makes a huge difference. on my work computer they sund similar at home on studio you can ehar everything.

Each folder contains a similar riff. Out of those folder you pick the one you like best.
ex:
A - 4
B - 8 so on

B 10 .the only one that i really liked.

C 18..Very nice lead tone.It's screaming/singin and ringing well.

I didn't cheat! :fingersx:

I like A1 and B10. They sound "big" with natural and clear sounding crunch. The rest sound like it's a bit bassier or sliiiiiightly muffled in comparison to A1 and B10.

As a reference, I use Sony MDR-7506 headphones.

Honestly, I didn't pick anything from C, because the A and B picks are better. However, if I remember correctly, I got a good impression on C19, but I think it lacks the attack that the A1 and B10 have. I think that it's just a factor of how you played when you recorded the clip. I'm not saying that you didn't play it well though!

You really did a great job in making these comparison clips. I used to do this myself, but I didn't have as many clips. :)

Ok, I'm late to this party, but I didn't look at the results.

Honestly, I liked A1 the best. It seems to have a nice full character, but with better clarity then the others.

A-4
B-10
C-17

I didn't cheat again. :D

thanks guys.... as it turns out.... I am returning the TSL to GC. Good amp, easy to use. I would recommend it. My 800 is getting modded. About to sell my white LP custom :( she is a gorgeous one too. Old from 80's. My sights re set on a Bogner XTC.
