PASTK-1N : Am I measuring this correctly?

Just scored a set of parallel axis on the bay, and the two singles are giving me an odd reading.

In the tone chart it gives the resiatnce as 6.8k, but I'm getting 6.8K on each coil for a total resistance of 13.6K?

Is this normal?

That would be a pretty "hot" single. I wonder if they intended it to be wired in parallel? :scratchch

im thinking thats a misprint on the tone chart and you are getting a correct reading.
