hey i'm looking for a flanger and chorus to get me close to the tone on the pat travers band live album with travers/thrall rockin on guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure, Makin Magic, Hooked on Music, just great stuff. I still listen to Go for what you know at least once a week.

I used to SEE them at least once a week....or so it seemed!

In the '70S, it seemed they were here in S. Florida all the time. I think Travers either lives or works out of the Orlando area now.

Anyway, I still rock out to Travers & "Mr Thrall"...Go For What You Know is one of those Great all time albums. And I have a Greatest Hits CD with "Snortin Whiskey..." on it.....I listen to that pretty regularly too.....

As far as gear goes, I remember Pat playing either an SG or an LP Double Cut-away back then. Most recently, I've seen him play a variety of LPs & PRSs. I don't recall what Thrall played, but I seem to remember him playing a strat back then.........

For amps, I would guess Marshalls...maybe Hi-Watts...

Effects...........no clue, but you might check out this link.

Hope I helped a little........................

Pat Travers used a double cut Gibson Melody Maker in the early (Crash and Burn album) days!
And his whole band endored the original ADA Flanger.
