Patiently...

This is my "short" rendition of a Journey tune from the "Infinity" album. It's called "Patiently". It's about a minute or so long. It's basically a little instrumental version with the rhythm being my Variax set for the Guild 12-string model and the melody set to my Variax's Tele bridge pickup. For the rhythm track, I went through my Boss ME-33 for a little chorus and the melody was done with my Flextone III Plus direct through the board. The amp setting on my Flextone was the 59 Bassman setting.

Enjoy...

Nice! I enjoyed every second of it..I´m not familiar with the original tune that should change though.

The last note fits perfectly at 1:41!! :saeek: :cool3:

Re: Patiently...

Butch, all your clips always rock, and this one is no exception!!! Journey rocks like no other, I dug the clip! Don't you usually record with your Peavey Classic?

Re: Patiently...

Thanks guys. I'm gld you enjoyed it.

Biu - I sold the Peavey Classic awhile back. I have recorded with it; but recording with the Line 6 is so much better for me.

Re: Patiently...

Sweet playing and tones Butch. Great chops and feel.

I think the 12 string might sound a little better with a little more of a stereo effect, keeping the melody guitar where it is now, in the center.

Thanks Stevo... Yes, a stereo recording for the acoustic would have been very cool...
