Been wanting to do this for ages. Got to get the guard squared away still but it's hellacious! 2012 Jr with some mods- stock P-90 and an SD Vintage Tele neck, stock 550k pots, Tele 3 way, StewMac bridge and custom knobs that mi amigo butnut had made a few years back.

That is COOL! I like the piston shaped knobs too. How dos it sound with both PUs on? Do they work as a HB together?

Thanks! Yeah I love these knobs, they really are beautifully machined too which is so cool.

The pups seem to cancel most of the hum when working together which is nice. With my set up it is a sort vintage Nugent kind of sound with both pups on, leaning towards gritty Stones. They work well together which I kind of had a hunch they would.

Cool, I would go with the Junior pickguard back on though. Never liked the look of a nekkid Tele neck pup. But that's just me. :dunno:

Holy Shikkies, that is off the hook ! I wish you had token a photo of the headstock because I can't tell if it's a LP or Telecaster style .

I dig it. It looks so cool with the guard meeting the tele control plate. Luckily, the Jr's knobs fell into that spot.
