I just heard Gibson advertised on Paul Harvey..... :smack: . He advertised that there will be a new "Special Edition" Les Paul released every month this year. The gibson mystery marketing plot thickens. :smack:

Paul Harvey is famous for incorporating his advertisements into his script in such a way as to catch you off gaurd. You think you're hearing the beginning of one of his news pieces, and then it turns into an ad.

He did one of those once where he talked about some folks who threw $60,000 worth of audio equipment in the trash . . . to be replaced by a Bozo wave radio.

I've never listened to him since.

... He played a Les Paul during his studio days, later venturing into blues based hard rock with a band called Led Zeppelin... and that man... was Abraham Lincoln.

I've always enjoyed Paul Harvey...I haven't found the station out here that carries his stories yet. He is a conservative, which is why I like him so much....
