its funny you guys are talking about a tele pup in the pg appreciation thread, ive been sayng for a while how much i think a pgb is liek a good tele pup. the more you know how to work the volume and tone controls the more youll like the pup.

I agree. Brighter, low to medium output humbuckers ( 9.5K and under ) give me more to work with. Most hot humbuckers start to sound to thick and compressed to me. I really like the Custom Custom ( 14.4K )and JB (16.6K )and some other hot humbuckers, but a pickup like the 59B is more to my tastes. Leaves more space in my tone for my own personality to come through...like my Tele! Lew
