pearly gates bridge/neck diferences

hi there folks,i have the pearly gates bridge trembucker on the bridge position of my schecter classic.Adore its tone. Combined with the alnico2pro leaves me wanting more in terms of output and clarity. Thus the obvious ,to put another pearly gates in the neck and keep the a2pro for another project guitar.

problem is i can only get another pearly trembucker form my local store with a discount rather than ordering the neck model ,and that would take a while for arrival.

Question: will the trembucker model be very diferent, being ment for the bridge and placed in the neck position?should i be better off with a jazz neck perhaps...

the pearly gates neck and bridge are fairly different and i wouldnt suggest a pg trembucker in the neck with that same pup in the bridge. i think you will find balance problems.

the pgn is a little brighter and clearer than the aph-1n with a llittle extra output. the jazz neck will get you more clarity but doesnt have the richness of tone that the pg does

much obliged Jeremy.

i do love the a2pro ,just not with the gates in the bridge.
thanks for the input,im gonna pair it with the jazz for now.

As Jeremy said, neck and bridge in the PG (and the APH, too) are very different. Myself I like the bridge but not the neck. Be careful before spending major bucks on SD's most expensive regular pickup.
