Pearly Gates bridge

Put a Pearly Gates in the bridge of my Shawbucker Deluxe Tele. Outstanding pickup and sounds fantastic. I never use a pick, and this pickup reacts so well for my playing style. Very direct, focused with a quick response. Exactly what I was needing.

glad you like it! the pearly gates is one of my favorites. many people seem to love the neck, but i like the bridge better

Perhaps I may try the PG neck, but for now the Tim Shaw Double Tap in the neck is just fine. The Fender proprietary issue caused a little modification, but it was worth it to have the PG in the bridge. Really like this pickup a lot.

Agree. I have the Custom Shop set and it is unreal. That neck pickup is a gem.

I ordered an Alnico Pro II neck to pair with the PG. Would have tried the PG neck, but hard to find one black with no logo. Looking forward to hear how these will work together.
