My guess is black wire where it says white, red and white together where it says red and green goes to where it says ground (GND)
If that's not right, switch the black and red+white wires around. Green still goes to ground.

The Squier AL Telecaster pickup selector switch offers one split coil / humbucker / the other split coil.
In my opinion, this is a waste of a Pearly Gates. Instead, I humbly suggest this schematic diagram. http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=esquire_hb
Translate from the CRL type switch illustrated in the diagram to the eight in line switch as follows:

That should prove interesting.
I assume that you will omit the tone control rather than make a hole in the guitar body.

Correct. So, to do Duncan colors put the black wire where the red is. The red where the white is, and the white where the black is.

No, I'm doing it just like the diagram with the tone control and installing a jack in the traditional Tele location.

In that case, the PG might be happier running through A500k pots and a .022uF capacitor on the tone pot.

Hey guys I have a similar typed guitar: 1 humbucker, 1 volume, 1 tone, 3 way toggle. but my 3 way toggle is an LP styled one.
How do you think I would go about making it so that in the first position it's one coil, middle it's both of them in a normal humbucker sounding way, and in the 3 position it's the other coil.
I have a sorta diagram thing...it's quite ****ty actually, I just wanna make it work.
