Without knowing more, I don't think you can lose either way.
But...I vote PG. I run the PG/CC combo and it's awesome. The PG and CC have sort of extreme eq's. Pg is a bigger scoop than a lot of PAF's and the CC is a mid hump. Either sounds awesome; PD has a nice sizze/ bite in the upper mids and nice brightness for the neck, while the CC has amazing fat buttery highs.
But you REALLY get amazing tones when you start combining them. They just fill the tonal spectrum. A volume tweek here or a tone tweek there and it' like you have 10 different pups. I just think they really compliment and conbine really well. I can play anything on that guitar.
