Pearly Gates Set in Dual Hum Floyd Strat?

I'm looking to get a vintage AC/DC type tone out of a dual hum Charvel Strat with a Floyd Rose. Would these pickups work well or are they more suited for Les Pauls?

i think they sound great in a strat. you arent going to get a real ac/dc tone from a strat with a floyd no matter what you do but youll get a great classic rock tone.
the patb3 might be another pup to look at for the bridge.

The first time I put a PG bridge into a trem Strat I was stunned. The additional bottom from the PG plays perfect with the tremo EQ line. You can't use regular PAFs because they will lose the body you need for the crunch.

No idea about the neck but I guess it's a good starting point.

I recently put a PGb in my MIA strat, which has a 2-point trem and a maple neck and fret board. The PGb sounds HUGE in this guitar. Like uOpt said, the PG sits great in the EQ curve of a tremolo equipped strat. It will get you that heavy classic rock sound like AC/DC easy.

Thanks guys. Before even reading the positive reviews posted here today, I ordered a set this morning. Just looking to fill a gap that I don't get covered with the JB or Distortion.

Never tried a PGb in a strat, but I love them in a les paul - I'd like to try them in a strat but I don't really have a need for another dual humbucker guitar with PG's. Probably gonna go for it someday, but for right now, I'm happy with them in the les paul.

Yes. The problem for me is I just don't feel comfortable with Les Pauls, love the tone though. I'm just trying to get as close as i can with a guitar I feel comfortable with.
