Peavey Bandit?

I know, I've been posting a lot of amp threads.

I've almost 100% decided that I'm going to buy a Peavey Bandit as my main amp, for pedal use, and I'm not sure which model to get. I've heard the TransTubes are the best but it's really hard to tell online which is which.

I got an early '90s Bandit last year. Some people here @these forums recommended a Bandit to me a long time ago, & I finally got one. I read this after I got it:

Ahhhh, ok cool. And yeah I looked at that it's very helpful, just hard to tell which one you're looking at by pictures online.

I had an older Bandit and loved it one of the best SS amps I ever heard. That transtube technology really does sound tube like.

For a small, SS amp, the Transtube models are great. I used one for years.

From the sound samples I've heard, they really do sound brilliant

Yeah again, they seem fantastic especially clean from what I've heard. Would be a great pedal platform for practice and live use.

I've gotten some great tones using pedals with the current generation.
