Peavey Generation EXP clip.

Let me warn you, before anyone wastes 15 minutes of their life . . . :laugh2:

This is about 6 minutes long, and will probably take at least that long to download, depending on your connection speed, of nothing more than me messing with my new Peavey Generation before anyone else got up this morning. There's no real song per se, just me finger picking, with everything set to clean.

I just wanted to archive what this Peavey sounded like before I make any pup changes, so I started tape rolling while I was messing with it. I editted out the pops and clicks of pup switching, but it should be pretty easy to tell when I do.

The neck pup is useable, but nothing great. The middle, by itself, is not noteworthy. Positions #2 and #4 are both real nice, and the bridge, by itself, is ok, but nothing to write home about. Its a bit too thin, very bright, but mixes with the middle pup real well. In fact, the middle and bridge together, is probably the best sounding position.

Anyway, if you have any curiousity as to what one of these things sounds like stock . . . well, its your 15 minutes. :laugh2:

Re: Peavey Generation EXP clip.

Well if that was the stock pickups...then it will sound very nice with some good ones in it.
Good clean sound, firm and fat.
Liked it.
Plus it took me less than 1:30 to get it down;)

Re: Peavey Generation EXP clip.

Thats pretty good. My server is in Texas. ;)

BTW - Thanks for listening. At least the pups sound good enough that I can take my time decideing what to get.
