the power section must be doin a grounded grid cathode drive design. it isn tunheard of in the HIFI world. something like that.
remember, Peavey uses alotfo house marked parts, so the 5884 on the chip, is probably not the correct designation.
looks like a cool amp to take apart, though. mwuahahhaha!!!
