Peavey ID needed.

What model is this Peavey? I'm thinking Patriot, but not sure if they made them with volume and tone. A guy is asking $60 with the case.

Re: Peavey ID needed.

Didn't they have like 5 identical models of every price range? I remember the Tracer and Nitro and like several others that were cosmetically identical for the most part.

Re: Peavey ID needed.

Yeah. The Patriot came in several different configurations. Mine are all dual humbuckers. $60 is a steal. It should be a bonafide MIA. Very underrated axe.

The thing would be mine if the guys phone wasn't disconnected.

Dang! I may have to hand in my Peavey card. It does look like a Rockmaster. I should have recognized it seeing how I just recently acquired one. $60 for a Rockmaster is top end. I paid $50 for mine. However, the case is probably still worth the money. (Assuming it's included in the deal, and not just being used for display purposes.)

Re: Peavey ID needed.

Didn't Walmart carry those for a while? Thought I remember seeing them at Walmart around Christmas time a while ago...

Re: Peavey ID needed.

The guys phone gives a "can't revive calls at this time" for a week now, so,.....

It really is/was the case that I was wanting. If, like said, was actually part of the deal. The axe would've been another swirl paint project.

Yup. $79.95, with a horrible little SS amp, strap, picks, etc. The usual little Christmas "starter" package. The thing is, the guitar itself isn't terrible. Plywood body. But solid plywood. ;)

I dropped a Duncan Nazgul in mine, and it rocks. I think of it as the "adult" version of the Hello Kitty Strat.

But to the OP, if it doesn't include that case, don't pay $60. IMHO.

Re: Peavey ID needed.

Call Peavey, or check the site, you can send customer service your serial number, they should be able to give you details, if it's a US built guitar... Just noticed the other replies, if it is a Rockmaster, they are Chinese made, so doubt you can get details on it... Build date, at best.
