Peavey Riptide Guitar Change to Humbuckers

I have a Peavey Riptide guitar, yet another Telecaster inspired guitar. It has single coil pickups.

I was thinking about switching to noiseless (Vintage Stack Tele Set) or single coil sized humbuckers (Hot Rails Tele Set). I was curious if anyone else has been down this road with tele style guitars, and what they experienced when trying this kind of switch?
