I have 4 of 'em, 8 ohms.....in great shape looking for 110 a pair shipped in the CON US, I can ship anywhere, write for a quote. Paypal or Postal Money Order.

each pair is a slightly different material/finish...other than that they are identical.

Not really, these are for that die hard peavey fan...thats really all I can say. Kind of a cult classic for those with old peavey amps.

I can not relate them to another well known speaker but as some point of reference Tom Morrello uses a PV cab that has the stock Scorpions...

The thing about these speakers is that they are more transparent than Celestions so you are hearing a little of the amp plus they are pretty high power speakers so there is little to no cone breakup...

I can't rember the actual rating but I have a PV Trimuph 120 combo for a while many many moons ago and it had a single Scorpion in it just like these and the amp was 120 watts so the speakers are at least 120 each...they are tough as nails speakers!

Scorpions are solid speakers! They do rock and metal very well IMO! Tough as nails also!
