Peavey ValveKing?

Has anybody tried these things out? They seem too cheap to be true. They 50w 1x12 and 100w 2x12s are particularly interesting...

how's the tone? is it better for cleans or gain? etc. etc. etc...

would the 'pull some tubes' trick work to bring down the wattage on the 2x12?

i'll probably visit a shop soon and answer some of these questions myself but if any of you can respond in the meantime...

Join Peavey's forum, and do a search there in the guitar amps section. A Peavey staff member did a great review of them as soon as he received his, and really describes the tones this amp is capable of. The class A-A/B switch is particularly interesting to me.
