Peavey wolfgang, olp mm1?

Hi -
I have been doing research online about these guitars and have several questions.
It seems that the Axis is nothing compared to the peavey wolfgang or olp in terms of the neck. Now i have never played an axis, only a peavey wolfgang special and the olp mm1. The neck on the peavey was much fatter than the olp. But both seemed fine to me in terms of playing. This leads me to getting either the peavey wolfgang - most likely the korean version (QT) because of price or the new olp mm1 w/floyd (like the floyd not because i'm a heavy user, but rather like knowing that if i bend 2 steps the guitar won't go out of tune).
So, the question really is, is the extra money and time spent looking for an used peavey wolfgang worth it compared to the olp?

thanks in advance

I have owned all the guitars you mentioned except the Korean Wolfgang and if it was me I`d go for the Wolfgang US Special. It`s a great guitar and if your on a budget you can sometimes find them as low as $500 used.

I'd say check out the used ones! Especially if you can find one with a oil finished neck. My axis' neck is outstanding, and while shape is definitely part of that, the finish is a critical part of the feel.

I agree, a used Wolfgang Special would be a great choice. They are some of the best "bang for the buck" deals on the used market right now.

I own both and I would look for a used wolfgang special. The oiled neck feels great and the floyd works very well. I've owned one since '98 and it has always been very reliable.

I have an EXP wolfgang. It kicks ass.
I would definatly not get the OLP. My choice would be the best wolfgang u can afford.
