Those two points on the battery pack, where the wires come off it to go to the LED strips and the switch, are those positive and negative?

And is the switch connected across them?

I drew up this diagram from memory. It's a simple circuit that has only one single throw on/off switch. If I'm not mistaken, this is how the circuit was done on that LED set. They came with a switch installed for the factory where you could test them out before I bought them. I just took that momentary switch out and put an ON/OFF switch in it. I hope this helps.
