Pedal board power supply?

Re: Pedal board power supply?

I recently bought a new power supply and needed at least an 18V output along with various 9V and ideally the possibility for 12V. I went for a T-Rex Chameleon as when I sat down and looked at the power (voltage) / current ratings needed for all my pedals it was pretty much the only one I could buy. There were probably one or two others, but without going crazy it was the most likely.

Havng said that there were probably other options whose specs weren´t clear enough to know they would fit the bill and I did want isolated outputs so a 1 spot wasn´t exactly top of my list. Your needs may be easier to deal with.

I´d recommend getting the documentation for your pedals if you have it and double check what you´ll need. Once you are sure of that you´ll know what your options are.

If you don´t have all the info. check this site (there are others available too if you´re missing anything).

As I mentioned before, I've been running my current board on batteries - All of them take a single 9v, so the VS 1spot should do the trick. I'm not planning on getting any "special" pedals that require something other than 9v either. Thanks for your input tho. :)
