Pedal Board Update!

I have made a few more changes to my pedal board, and this is probably the most happy I have ever been with my board setup. (I can't promise that I won't make more changes/additions before too long lol :D But right now I am very happy with it).

So right now it is...
*Guitar*-> Fender Classic Volume-> Modded Crybaby Wah-> MXR Dyna Comp-> Hardwire CM-2 Overdrive-> MI Audio Blues Pro V.3-> "Hosscreamer" (Fhusk modded TS9)-> MI Audio Crunch Box V.3-> "Revelation Drive" (Fhusk modded C.M. Purple Drive)-> *Front of my amp* .....and the Boss TU-2 Tuner is running out through the tuner output on the Volume pedal. Then running through my FX Loop is... Hardwire CR-7 Chorus-> MXR Carbon Copy-> Boss DD-20 Delay

I have some more patch cables on the way right now, so the cheap cables on there are just temporary. Lol And I built the actual board myself. (Sorry, I only have some bad cellphone pics right now...)

And this is what my pedal board looked like this time last year. It has changed A LOT in just a year.

my board has gotten crazy with all the stuff I've been playing lately...
ernie ball volume, bbe wah, tc mojomojo od, fulltone 69 fuzz, sd twin tube classic, sd doubleback compressor, ehx ravish sitar, hardwire tremolo/rotary, tc electronic corona chorus, hall of fame reverb, flashback delay/looper, sd deja vu tap delay, digitech jamman solo looper, and tc electronic polytune

I literally for the longest time just used my trusty bd2, a wah (vox or crybaby), and a fender pedal tuner

then I started collecting dirt boxes (I had about a dozen od's/fuzzes), picked up a uni vibe (being a big trower/hendrix fan), then I picked up a delay (being into the edge, playing old rockabilly/country stuff, etc), and well that's pretty much how the cycle started. The only thing that I haven't kept in my pedalboard recently is an EQ pedal.

That sounds like a good selection you have there!!

That's quite a bit of delay you have happening on that board! I've considered a Carbon Copy along with my DD20 but don't have the spare to justify pulling the trigger.

Quite a bit of dirt too. How do you set each of them? I'm interested in using multiple shades of OD for different purposes.

Thanks! Ya I really like having both delays on the board. I use the CC for my warm, short delay setting that I use for alot of my rythm and some lead. Then I have the memory patches on the DD-20 set for all of my longer delay times and ones set for certain songs (like I have a patch saved for "Awakening" by Hillsong ). And on the manual mode I have it set to sound like my setting on the CC just in case, for a backup, and I use it for the loop function.

For the dirt pedals... I have the Hardwire OD set with the gain almost off and the level up alot to boost and tighten up the gain channel on my amp and some other pedals. It also has a fairly flat eq rang and I have the mini switch on the classic mode. On the Blues Pro, it is my main rythm dirt setting that I use on my clean channel. I have it set for a decent amount of break up, but where it still has some clarity (and I sometimes boost it with the Hardwire OD if I need just a little more gain out of it). I have the gain at 9-10 o'clock, the tone at 1-2 o'clock, and the level to where its just a touch louder than my clean. The Fhusk modded TS9 has TONS of gain! I actually use it on the clean channel with the gain all the way down, but its still a heavier setting than my Blues Pro. Plus it really has the midrange hump and less bass than the BP. It also works great for boosting my gain channel and other pedals with some more mids than the Hardwire and just a different tone. I use the Crunch Box for my more Marshall flavored lead tone and I boost it sometimes with either the BP or the TS9. (I use the gain channel on my Blackstar for my Marshall crunch rythym tone.) And the Revelation Drive is a totally different beast. It is more like a Green Rhino mixed with a Big Muff, alot of low mids and it can get really gritty or really smooth. It has gain, level, mid, and treble knobs, so you can really set it alot of different ways. I use it for a smoother lead tone, but my favorite thing to do is boost it with the TS9, and that is the meanest lead tone I have ever heard!

And that's pretty much how I have everything set.

I have yet to really sit down and tweak all of my dirt pedals to find the sweet spot with my full rig. I can't wait to do it.

Awakening is a sweet song too... Care to share your settings?

Ya no problem man! I always love it when I find "the tone" in a pedal I use. :) And yeah man, I'll check and see what all settings I'm using for that song and I'll let you know!

Thanks! My foot switch for my amp goes on the board too, but its not pictured. I do have a little extra space though.... don't temp me! Haha!! :D

yeah it's serving me quite well

I love having two delays, a dedicated looper, and just about every other effect a boy could want lol

the ravish sitar has been great not only for making sitar sounds but also for just adding cool ambient textures it can do a lot of cool synthy sounds (makes me wish i could get some of the moog pedals)

My guitar > Fender Classic Volume > Boss TU-2 > MXR Dyna Comp "Ross Plus Mod" > TIMMY > MI Audio Blues Pro v.3 > Fhusk modded TS9 "Hosscreamer" > Fhusk modded Carl Martin Purple Drive "Revelation Drive" > Hardwire SC-2 Distortion > front of my amp...

Then in the effects loop I am running.... Hardwire CR-7 Chorus > MXR Carbon Copy > Boss DD-20 > TC Hall Of Fame Reverb.

I've also got a JHS Mini Bomb boost and an MXR Custom 78 Distortion that should be here in the next day or two. :)

I'm also going to add a T1M Buffer and switch over to a PedalTrain Pro soon.

First of all..great board!I saw you sold your Pig Mine over to Harmony Central . I wouldve liked to of had that! Did you post that here? So no muff on the board now?

Sorry, but I don't think that was me lol I'm not on Harmony Central and I don't even know what a Pig Mine is. Haha!
