Pedal help..

[Empty Pockets]

I'm looking for a distortion pedal to run in conjunction with my DS-1 to provide me with a really fat, bassy hi-gain sound. My spider sense is telling me a Big Muff Pi would do the trick, but i have no idea for sure. How would this pedal effect my tone, by itself or with a DS-1? Would anything else suit me better?

A BMP by itself should do the trick.
There are a variety of 'flavors' of BMPs, as well as improved clones (i.e. Creamy Dreamer, Foxy Fuzz, etc) to consider

well i like the cheap black one i see in the catalogue anybody have any experiences?
