What I dont get is if you're going to put the stompswitch on a PCB, why not mount the jacks as well, it'll save on the wiring-up time if you think about it....

Well...I guess they wanted it "boutique";)
We mount everything on our PCB's, never had a broken PCB ever!
There is a few funny things about HAO, the PCB is dual layer, and the soldering is defently not man made on the main PCB board, and the impedance is funny too...but it sounds good so no bother about that as it is, it is just a matter of locate it right in the effect chain.

Did not measure it, but it has some funny effect on later in the chain time based pedals, made the volume rise when used with delays, chorus, flanger, tremolo.
