Pedal modders experts....help (electric mistress)

I have a EH deluxe electric mistress flanger among my pedals and it is a very good pedal with a warm flanging sound and particularly good for some D.Gilmour sounds.
It has though some problems........it affects quite a bit the tone of your guitar even when off, it sucks quite a lot of treble frequencies AND (most importantly) it has a big volume drop when engaged......I have modded it for true bypass and the first two problems are much better now.......the volume drop though still gives me a lot of headaches......Do you know of any mods that can help????

I don't know what to do about it on a DIY front but AnalogMan will fix that problem for you...

going off of that schematic and my limited knowledge, maybe try lowering R2. similar thing happens when you convert wahs to true bypass, volume drop, but lowing the input resistor fixes this.
