Craigslist!!!

I would but I don’t trust people even in a public place especially with a wad of cash. It’s a personal problem. So it’s not an option. I found a Laney 2x12 for 250$ all the others with Celestine are like 500$

Plus I could just get ripped off there’s no way to make sure the cab works and I’ve heard Craigslist horror stories

Every CL deal I’ve made was paid for using PayPal. Much safer for both parties involved.
If you ask to pay that way and someone refuses, they probably aren’t someone you want to do business with. But I think the average person selling something wouldn’t have a problem with that.
You’re call though, if you’re not comfortable, you’re not comfortable.

How do you know that an amp can or amp even works though?

Good point. That said, I’ve never bought an amp from CL. Maybe the guy could Skype with you and play through it?

Ya that would work although an amp might be cheaper than Used guitar center I’d still like a return policy for an amp, can not so much. I’m gassing for a meris polymoon though and that’s a big chunk of my amp funds. Also a pedal pallete from decibel 11 only 169 for a switcher with four parallel loops. So much gear so little $$

Was also thinking of bass breaker 15 but fender has mud scoop slightly and some compression that’s not preferable for a pedal playform

Also if I’m just doing bedroom volume or lower recording would I necessarily need much clean headroom?
