pedal power?

Right now I am using three pedals, a boss tu-2, a dd6, and a fulltone fatboost.

I am tired of using batteries...and would like to switch to a power supply. Is there anything out there that I can use to power all three pedals at once? I don't want to have to go searching for three+ outlets at gigs. (Note: I dont have a pedal board, and I don't really want to get one)

thanks for any input...

Re: pedal power?

the Boss Tu-2 has a daisy chain option on it. you just need 1 boss 9v wall plug, and then the tuner can power 8 other pedals with a daisy chain. just look for boss tu-2's on ebay, and you'll find one that comes with it, but you should be able to pick up the chain for $15 or so.

Re: pedal power?

Yeah, just simply buy a 'daisy chain' (don't know what the official name is) and plug on side in the 9v out jack of the TU-2 and the other end to the desired pedal. Done!

Re: pedal power?

Awesome, thanks. Any input on the Boss PSA-120 Adapter? Is that really necessary, or can I just go to RadioShack and get a DC adapter there?

Is there any issues with hum using these?

Re: pedal power?

I know for a fact, having powered both my Boss pedals with an AC adaptor, that any old power supply will work. But since you're chaining the pedals together, it would probably be better to buy the Boss adaptor, unless it's outrageously more expensive than a regular 9v power supply.

Re: pedal power?

Get the boss AC adapter. I think it goes for about $20 street. You can't go wrong with that. With other AC adapters, you run the risk of hum.
