I spent most of last year beefing up my pedal board. So far I am pretty happy with what I have come up with.
Here is a cellphone pic of the work in progress.
A friend of mine is building the actual board. It's a little bit bigger than I expected but it's free labor so I am not complaining. I just have to resist the urge to try and fill up whatever extra space there is.
On the board I have:
Boss TU-2
Morley Little Alligator Volume
Dunlop CryBaby Classic
MXR Dynacomp
Fulltone Fulldrive 2
MXR Classic Distortion
MI Audio Crunchbox
MXR 10 band EQ
Line 6 MM4
Boss DD-20
and finally Reverb/Tremolo switch for my amp.
Pedals are powered by a Dunlop PowerBrick.
The pedals as listed are the signal path. Any thoughts?
I'm very happy with the tone I am getting. Plenty of dirt on the floor so I can cover a lot of ground as far as that goes.
The MM4 is a great swiss army knife pedal. It may not do everything the best but it does more than enough for me.
I'm fairly confident that this will be the general structure of my board going forward. Pieces may change periodically but overall this is it.
One day in the future the MM4 may get swapped for individual mod effects but that isn't a necessity.
My apologies for the crappy cellphone pic. More to come once the board is painted and wired up.
