The delay is great - though take it with a bit of a grain of salt as I have not owned many in my years of playing. Its just so versatile - I think of them as "if only" pedals. Most of the other pedals I was looking at were nice but there were always "if only" it could do this. The Empress delay covers all the bases. I don't find it that complicated at all and the 8 presets are a really nice touch.
The trem is really nice too. My only desire would be a rate knob for the two level mode - i.e., the speed at which the trem changes from one speed to the other. Its fixed at the moment and sometimes I want to get it to the other speed a bit quicker/slower than the factory setting
