Anyone tried the Line 6 AM-4 amp modeler pedal? Supposedly it's the same circuitry from their all-in-one series (PODs, etc) just without all the other stuff.
I've been using one for a couple of years or more, though I haven't directly compared it to my JCM800 or TripleRec. Running it direct into my mixer/interface, it's definitely got more going for it than say a typical stomp box. I did try it into the front of my Fender head when I first got it, but I'm thinking it's designed more for power amp use (which would make sense).
From what little I've seen online, it was fairly well-received, though you obviously find fanboy replies as well as the haters.

I love the Bogner Uberschall pedal! I use it into an amp on the edge of breakup. I have been reamping guitars using it the past week or so. I tracked this last night:
Left guitar is Bogner Harlow/Uberschall and Swamp Thang. Right guitar is Bogner Harlow/Empress Heavy and Wizard. [The only exception is the opening lead which is a SunFace and the 5/8 guitars which are the JCollocia Horus]
It is a very high gain pedal, but also very amp-like. The boost function is amazing; I love using boost pedals but have not found the need with the Uberschall, the boost on the pedal itself sounds so nice.
