I keep trying to coax good tones out of my MG50, but no matter what pedal I use, it still doesn't touch a tube amp.

Hows the SD Tweak Fuzz/Twin Tube Classic for this kind of thing?

who doesnt want a sweet tube amp, but a 1000 dollar tube amp vs a 30 dollar stomp box...i'll try the stompbox.

what about just switching it to a clean channel and turning on the effect? like i said before this is just a bedroom thing, but i really need a lead tone.

would it maybe be better to try other things to change my tone like a wah or something instead of gain to get that high range solo effect?
