Sylvainia / Phillips ECG 6CA7's for sale NOS Beam Tetrodes

I have had 2 pair of Big Bottles for about 6 years.
I bought them from Dougs Tubes..way back when He sold more NOS than new production.
1 set is a later ECG set re-labled by Richardsons, they come in National
boxes and say KT-77.
They are pristine; Getter, Flash, Plates, glass, bases & pins. No flaking or seperation either.
They are 46 & 44 ma. +++++++++ SOLD +++++++++


The second set is an older Sylvania, but labled & boxed as RCA.
These are still the 2 getter beasts...not the ones with the xtra side getter.
They are at 33 & 29 ma.
Again, they are Pretty & Clean.

They have been in a 2204 with a plate voltage of 469V for about a half hour total,
just to test them to make sure they would not Pop or red plate.
Doug also screened them in His Maxi-matcher..before he sent them out.

These are very pretty and I was going to keep them for that.
But I know I will not use them, so here they are.
I will send them Fed Ex, I will pay for ship & full insurance.
Tubes only...

Pedals are heavy, so shipping cost will need to be included.

What Ohms are the Speakers? Doping? I have a cabinet with 2 original G12H-30's from the 70's , and need two, so the Scummies would work , but they would have to be 16 OHM with doping.

It Is a DS-10 and the literature mentions that it has an exciter ability.
For $30 + shipping it worth a shot... since it will give different sounds.
I have the box...will have to see if I can find the oem manual.
It is in Exc + condition. This is a 5 Knob Pedal.

I have seen them advertised as high as $2k. That is Way steep.

I think $1500. I have 2 NOS late 60's Amperex's ECC83's and a balanced 1970
Dutch Phillips in the V3.
Can send a Matched Pair of early 70's { Labeled Brimar } Teslas
I got from VTV way back in 2002. Plus a few more Dutch Phillips Pre's.

They were made for 3 Years Only, & the Slash re-issues are more $$$ used.
Not certain they are better or even comparable.

The 2554 is very small combo...but I use it as a Head
with different Cabs.
I have sold them all but a little
Avatar 1x12...which is quite a bit larger than the amp.

I would have to do my own market research.
No hurry at this time.
So basically fair market value...If some one is in the Market... they will pretty
much know what they go for.
I will try to be under Market Value.

It is just too loud for me ..though it is the best sounding amp I have had;
& heard in person.

I'm interested in your NOS/ANOS 12ax7s. My BV300 needs 8, yes, 8; my M-1000 needs 5; my Bugera needs 4. I'm working towards retubing them all with NOS stuff, but the power sections might have to be somewhat piecemeal, especially the BV300. It's 3 channels on an SVT Classic power section, so that's 6 6550s. Ouch.

Anyway, pm me a price?

The 12BZ7 tube is used as a substitute for a 12AX7/A in a number of audio products. Essentially the 12BZ7 has the same gain as a 12AX7 with half the plate resistance, somewhat like two 12AX7A tubes in parallel. Its mu is 100, same as the 12AX7A, its rp is 32k compared to 68.5k, and its Gm is 3200 mhos versus 1600. Be aware that the 12BZ7 draws twice the heater current of a 12AX7 so if you are replacing multiple tubes in an amp, be sure the filament supply is up to the task. Also, if you amplifier has series wired filaments (most are parallel), replacing a 12AX7 with a 12BZ7 may result in the amp not working right, so only use these as substitutes in parallel circuits.
