That is pretty cool! Doesn't Sanyo have something like that available? I would imagine that eliminates a lot of ground loop hum.

Yeah, I love lithium ion technology. And having nothing plugged into the same outlet as your amp can eliminate a lot of noise.

I have considered a DIY project for making a 9V DC battery pack with those Sanyo AA 1.2V 2500mAH low discharge rechargeable cells. I just need to fix a day to do it soon, grab 8 cells & old toy cars to scavenge parts from :dance:
