Pegasus/Sentient combo for guitar with ash body/walnut top/maple neck and fingerboard

Hi folks,

I have taken some interest in the Pegasus/Sentient combo and would like to know if this set would be a good match for a guitar with an ash body/walnut top/maple neck and fingerboard. I play 80's heavy metal and progressive rock music (Dream Theater. Liquid Tension Experiment). My main amp right now is a Kemper rack amp.
