peizo pup on a sheraton

is there any way of puttin a peizo pup on my sheraton and use it while my bridge/ neck pup is in use? so it sounds like there is an acoustic playing over distortion on one guitar?

btw, this setup isn't cheap...you basically need to bring some kind of full-range amplification system for the piexo- they sound pretty bad through a guitar amp.
