Peter Green Mod on 3 HB LP

I went ahead and tried the Peter Green mod (flipping the magnet) in my AIIPro neck pickup. I love the new sounds in combo with my PG/Custom A2 hybrid in the bridge, but i noticed something odd. When combined with the PG/Custom A2 i have in the middle, the phasing is extremely pronounced, much stronger then with essentially the same pickup in the bridge. I checked my output levels, and the phasing just "peaks" much more. My guess is that with the pup in the middle position, there are more similar frequencies to the neck, so more signal is getting phased out. I'm considering swapping an A5 into the middle pickup to mix it up a bit, and see if brings out more individual character overall. Does this sound like a good idea to you guys?

all I can tell you is that I've read there are certain points where the effect is more pronounced, and other points where the effect is almost nil
