PG/Custom Hybrids

I finally got around to putting together some hybrids for my 3 HB Epi LP. I used the PGb from the middle and the Custom bridge to make 2 hybrids with A2 mags. So far I'm loving the sound, much more expressive and less compressed then the Custom. The hybrid in the middle position is pretty cool too. I used the Custom screw coil in the bridge hybrid, since it splits to the south in my wiring configuration. When I split it with the middle pup(which has the Custom slug coil to the north) I basically have a widely spaced Custom :). The cleans on the hybrids are much more useful too.
I'm leaving the covers off for now until i get ahold of some A5 mags to try out, just to compare. Maybe even a A8?:smack:
Mucho thanks to STRATDELUXE97 and BachToRock for the tutorial threads and inspiration! I highly recommend giving this a shot, guys.

Excellent! Glad you like it.....I seem to prefer the A2 magnet also.

Re: PG/Custom Hybrids

After playing a bit, i'm seriously thinking i should leave well enough alone. :)
A2s seem to be getting me all the sounds i need (and more) so maybe i should just leave em be.
But there's that damn tweaker's itch again....
