hi well i have a 59 pick up and i think its getting canceled out cause the "PHASE"
when i go and switch to my neck pick up it works fine but when i switch to the 59 (bridge pick up) it has no sound coming out. is phase the problem here if so how do i fix it. and if not what else could it be

This isn't a phase problem. An out-of-phase pickup will be weak and tinny, not dead. You just need to go over the connections carefully. It could be a bad "hot" lead connection, or a bad ground.

This is one of those situations where a meter can be an invaluable tool.
