Phase switch in

All right I have been wanting to try it for awhile so last night I finally spent the time to wire the freakin' pain in the butt switch.

It works real well I put an AllParts 500k push/pull pot for the neck volume in my LP Custom with a CCb/Jazzn combo. Definitely worth having in at least one guitar. I'll do some samples next time I set the mic up for the tip&clips section.

so, you used a push pull to bring it out of phase?

The Peter Green sound arose as the result of an error by a repairman. He put something in Green's damaged pickup back the wrong way around. Mounting the PU with the screws nearest the bridge was a crude attempt to correct the original error.

I cannot remember whether the magnet was inverted, the coils connected the wrong way about or both. Blueman_335 will know.

it was the magnet as far as i know.

i have one guitar that has a push pull phase switch. its a cool sound for some stuff but it doesnt make me sound like peter green either

I actually like the OOP sound under some decent gain. Just kind of a neat feel and sound, I think.

Now, this was a MISTAKE by the repairman? Hmm...

OOP = Out Of Phase

OOPS = Mistake word.
