Phat Cat in Strat

I am thinking about replacing the JB in my strat and putting a Phat Cat in the bridge and the JB in my SG bridge. The JB is so bright and with the hot Duncan Great White Snark singles in my strat it doesn't stand out much. I want less spike and more tone. I am also considering the Pearly Gates, as well for the strat .

i love the pearly in a strat but the phat cat in the bridge is a great tone. ive never tried it with the snarks but i think it would be cool

Brighter is ok. I just don't like the mid spike of the JB. The phat cat seems to have more tone. The Pearly Gates is bright too, but has really sweet tones. The JB sounds better to me in thicker and heavier guitars. It sounds awesome in teles and LPs. The Snarks are loud and warm for singles. I am would like a little more tone for rhythm and lead.

I'm going to get the PC today. If It doesn't work out, I'll spring for the PG or a 59. I'm also going to do the bridge tone mod.
