Does use those in a Stratocaster? I havea set of Alnico Pro 2's in one of my Strats right now, And it's a good sound, but I always find myself coming back to my Strat with The Surfers in it. I just like the clarity of the pups. I like the way they break up better tooo. Not so smooth.
I would just put some Single Coils into that Strat (I want to try a Twangbanger), but I have this really badass all abalone pickguard for it, and of course its 2 HB. I spent like $70 on it so I don't want to just toss it aside ya know?
