Phat Cats !!!

I just want to say that the set of Phat Cats I just bought and installed on my 2011 Les Paul Studio Mahogany Exclusive are EXCELLENT Just Perfect Tone !!! I have heard mixed reviews But I have to say I Love them . They do tend to remind me of a Jazz Master PU that Big single coil sound !!!

I have one in the neck of a tele & I love it to, perfect middle ground between a humbucker & single coil

I love the Phat Cat in the neck position in combination with a '59 in the bridge. I had read in this forum that the neck Phat Cat was dark because of the Alnico 2 magnets, but I find it quite the opposite. It is nice and spanky and by no means overly bassy. JMO.

For a single coil, I don't think it's THAT noisy either.

I've heard Phat Cats in a LP before, and they sound amazing. For everything from clean to just-before-metal styles, they do everything well!
