Love the Pharoah! I have one too and love it... but my Bass player uses it haha! I'm thinking of trying the Black Forest out as he won't give it back haha!

you would try :) :smack: u might get a lil lost on that 1hour drive, but after you raid the fridge for mah beerz u wouldnt be able to find ur way back to protect ur marshall furniturez!!! (see my sig)



I have had sooo much stuff of mine stolen over the years...bicycles car stereos, gear etc...wonder what stuff I would get next with the insurance money ...definitely another gibson rickenbacker orange and :fingersx: ???

Pharaoh is awesome! I know people dig it for bass too, would sound great with an ampeg tube rig I bet. I was gassing for that Black forest too to replace my rat as I am always considering additions ;) but I decided if anything I would get the keeley mod for my ratII.

good luck on prying that pharaoh out of your bassist's clawz!!! :biglaugh: :cool:

Ampeg tube rig would be nice! He just has some Crate amp, but it sounds good for what he does. We did fire it up through my Marshall JCM 800 LOUD with the Pharaoh and a Jazz Bass. That was fun! Throw the Pharaoh in front of an old Chrome Morley Wah and it's instant Cliff Burton!:fingersx:

What threw me off was when you mentioned "Rickenbacker"... then I saw the bass and it clicked. Nice! :D

ya, it is an amazing bass! not a lot of people play em at local shows. but popular among bassists

funny how typical electric guitars revolve around strat tele sg les paul really; not to o many people with iceman guitars or flying v guitars for instance. and the amps are always looking the same, black boxes! glad that each person is different in diff ways, tho. guess Im special in my own special way ;)

SGs are awesome! lightweight, heavy riffage, and low price gibson! got mine as new for about $800 from GC. I got all my stuff used or on a super sale.

thankz brutha! I would let uncle jerr (metalmaniac) "steal" the thunderbird first! gotta say it is a gibson sticker on an epiphone thunderverb I just do that to fool my friends :)
